An eToolkit for the CQUniversity Second Language Education Program including short video demonstrations with subtitles in multiple languages, resources, instructions, practice principles and implementation strategies and factors influencing implementation for easy adaption by aged-care home managers and CALD workers.

Resource Objectives:

This eToolkit is a collection of  Second Language Education Program (SLEP) resources have been compiled by CQUniversity academics with significant clinical experience in education, leadership, risk management, research and aged care to improve employee empowerment and job satisfaction by CALD migrant women workers in aged-care to residents of an aged-care home in regional Queensland thereby Improving migrant women’s participation in the workforce. T

Accessing this resource enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours and a CQUniversity Certificate of Completion.

Prerequisites: 

  • Domestic students - None.  
  • International students - International students who do not meet IELTS 7 may find the course difficult with some of the legal materials, although the video and course material should be suitable for any student with IELTS 5.5.
