CQUniversity presents a community engagement subject, open to students and the broader public.

The subject is taught by curators and academic staff from CQUniversity and guest lecturers.

Responding to Rockhampton Art Gallery's latest internationally drawn exhibitions Coming into Fashion the weekend course will address the rise of fashion on museum content, the role of fashion over the past century across print media, politics, visual arts, psychology, gender relations, and law.

This course will be taught over one weekend (including the Friday evenings) embedding participants in this unique exhibition, as researchers, critics, creative artists, and writers.

Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy access to Rockhampton Art Gallery's Coming into Fashion exhibition.

Leading CQUniversity scholars and other experts will guide participants through a comparative exploration of the exhibition and comparative topics.
