Course Description:

The uses of RPAS are increasing throughout many industries therefore safe and lawful operation is of paramount importance.  This short course introduces the basic principles, regulation and the laws of operating remotely piloted aircraft systems (RPAS) - also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).

  • Demonstrate some of the current and future uses of RPAS
  • Introduce the laws and regulations surrounding RPAS
